Become a member of Future Portland: This is a really important part of our offer to you. As a member, you get to invest in projects that benefit Portland and its community. You also get a share, which provides you with a vote on our most important decisions. In addition, depending on the project, you may also receive special perks, like discounts and member-only events.

To join, simply fill in a membership form and pay the fee. The form can be downloaded below. You can also get one via the Future Portland Facebook page or email: secretary.futureportlandcbs@gmail.com

You pay a one-off joining fee (secures your share) + an annual subscription fee. Fees vary depending on whether you’re an individual or an organisation, and where you reside:

• Portland resident: Joining fee = £5 + £5 annual subscription (renewel fee due on anniversy of joining)
• Non-Portland resident: £5 to join + £10 annual subscription (as above)
• Portland organisation representative: £5 + £15 annual subscription (as above)
• Non-Portland organisation representative: £5 + £20 annual subscription (as above)

For information, membership fees contribute towards Future Portland’s general running costs, which include everything from accounting, advertising, insurance and legal charges to registration, research and technology fees.

Donate to Future Portland: You can donate as both a member and non-member. Donations made directly to Future Portland help cover our core, day-to-day, running costs. These donations are treated separately from any additional project-based support that you may choose to offer.

Support a Future Portland project: Projects are dealt with separately from Future Portland’s day-to-day work. Once a project is officially adopted by Future Portland members, details of how the community can support it will be outlined on our Projects page.
